Primal Performance Series Seated Preacher Curl with Adjustable Pad
The Primal Performance Series Seated Preacher Curl with Adjustable Pad is a commercial preacher bench for strict biceps curls with an EZ bar, straight barbell or dumbbells. It has a four angle arm pad and a height adjustable seat, and fits in a 907 × 790 mm footprint at 1015 mm high.
Bracing the upper arm on the pad takes the shoulders and lower back out of the curl, so the biceps do the work and cheating is hard. The changeable pad angle lets one bench cover several curl variations.

Frequently asked questions
How much room does the Seated Preacher Curl need?
The bench is 907 mm long, 790 mm wide and 1015 mm high. Allow around 600 mm clear around it for walking in and handling the bar, so plan on a zone of about 2.1 × 2.0 m.
Does it need weights or plates?
It is a free weight bench, so there is no stack. Use your own EZ bar, straight barbell or dumbbells.
What ceiling height do I need?
The bench is 1015 mm tall and the curl happens in front of the body at chest height, so any standard ceiling is fine.
How is it different from the Standing Preacher Curl?
This model has a height adjustable seat and an arm pad with four angles, so users curl seated. The standing model has no seat, offers 45 and 90 degree positions, and has spotter catchers for resting the bar.
What warranty does it come with?
Primal Strength states a full commercial use warranty of 5 years on the frame and 1 year on the pads.
