The Primal Performance Series Seated Hamstring Curl lets users sit upright and pull the lower leg down and back against a 125 kg weight stack, loading the hamstrings with the hips flexed. Its footprint is 980 × 1240 mm, it is 1620 mm tall and it weighs 295 kg.

With the hips bent, the hamstrings are worked from a longer, more stretched position than in a lying curl, which many coaches favour for building size.

Seated or lying hamstring curl?
The seated version trains the hamstrings with the hips flexed, where they are more stretched, and it is easier to get in and out of. The lying curl works them with the hips straight. If you only buy one, the seated curl suits the widest range of members.
